At Primarossa we grow varieties from different breeders around the world. And the number one characteristic we look for in a new variety is that it is proven successful in the market. Some of our breeders are Rosen Tantau, Schreurs, Preesman, Kordes.

When it comes to agriculture, location is the most important element. Primarossa’s farms combine a sunny and cold weather with the altitude of Volcanic Soil to provide an ideal microclimate for roses to flourish.

GROWING PROCESS

Roses are an extremely sophisticated plant that suffers from the attacks of different plagues and funguses. This is one of the most challenging things to control as a grower in order to be profitable. Labor expense in the rose growing industry makes up for roughly 70% of the farms expense as the only way to keep plants form getting infected is to manually take off the leaves that are infected.
